Reviews

For Cover (Story) Girl:
"It's patterned after the light Koreanovelas - quirky, funny scenes; tearful goodbye and then a grand gesture (At one point the main character blurts out, 'What is this, a Koreanovela?' Yes, yes it is, Gio) - but is written with such care and intelligence that it never feels over-the-top, or silly, or false."
- Eliza Victoria, author of Dwellers
and Strange Little Gods

"In a nutshell, I totally, completely adore this book. I love how it was written – I am a sucker for simple, clean prose. The exchanges between Gio and Min Hee, more particularly the romantic ones, completely did me in."
- Monique, blogger, Bookish Little Me

For Wired Differently:
"What a fresh take on love stories! I will admit that I have read not enough sci-fi/spec fic stories and I don’t know if the “strange-ness” in these stories actually fit in those genres but this is definitely ‘wired differently’ than the usual romance stories I devour."

- Bentham, blogger, Idle Hands

About Me

I write contemporary romance and speculative fiction. Once upon a time, my short story “A Kind of Flotsam” won 1st Place in the 3rd Philippine Graphic/Fiction Awards and judge Neil Gaiman called it 'beautifully done.' I was also a fellow for Poetry in English at the 34th UP National Writers Workshop.

I am a freelance writer and editor living in Juneau, Alaska. I am a member of Romance Writers of America and its Alaska Chapter. When I'm not reading an insane amount of historical romances, I immerse myself in armchair astronomy and tabletop roleplaying games.
